Just finishing the ceiling on my build.

Did you guys insulate above your ceiling ducts or just cram insulation beside them? I am using the black flexible ducts from home depot... 5 and 6". I'm scared i'm gonna miss a spot and have a noisey area. It's really a tight fit to get safe and sound above them. So I put pink above as best I could and put safe and sound beside...

thanks!

Here is what I did.. Lined underside of each joist space with Ductliner then put R38 in. The ducts were covered with a frost king duct shield then I put R38 around them. fill ever space with insulation, caulk every seam. if you doing sound isolation build it like a submarine nothing gets in little gets out. A few small short cuts and all of you extra efforts are wasted.
