I am looking to buy one of the newer 360 premiums with HDMI (not the elite) and sell my existing premium.

It wouldn't be easy enough that I could just swap the drives, would it? I know the Elite lets you order a free migration kit but what would I do in my situation to keep all of my settings, saved games and info while still making the switch easy?

Yup it's that simple.

If you're going from Premium to Premium you can just swap drives, you wouldn't be gaining any space by transferring anyway. The cables for going from the 20g to the 120g, which is a significant reason to upgrade and transfer.

You will have to be connected to LIVE in order to play full versions of your arcade games. But, that goes for either option and probably not a deal breaker for most.
