I enjoy High Definition today, and are very happy with it..
Much of the special features that comes with it are cool.. but one thing hit me..
At DVD you could have multiple angles, a feature which when DVD was released was a very cool feature.. I have a collection of about 450 DVD's, and i haven't noticed this feature on a single one of those.
Do someone know how many titles, or titles which was released with it??
Because all this talk BD/HD DVD and the new features they bring, it seems cool, but is it features which is going to be used?? Other than for promoting HighDef content??

Multi-angle was nice, but the bitrate cap of DVD made it a very rarely used novelty. Porn was where I mostly noticed it.

Realistically, it's just not that useful. Kinda like PiP.

Kinda like PiP.
Frankly, to compare PiP to multi-angle is rather absurd.

I have watched FAR more PiP in the last year on HD DVD than I ever saw multi-angle on DVDs.

PiP is far more useful and has been VERY accessible at least on HD DVD.

Since there are no BD players yet that can do true PiP, I'm not surprised that you don't find it interesting... ;)

I guess i need a ouija board to perceive the quantitative difference in "true" PiP since I see Jason Statham in a little window inside my Crank Blu-ray just as well as I do Tom Cruise in my MI3 HDDVD.

Though it should be noted I've never watched either PiP all the way through and neither have seen a repeat viewing for that trite little gimmick. ;) Crank is a much better movie, though. Miami Vice did a bit better, but once I've seen the recipe for the mojito, I never really needed to see it again. And haven't.
