Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I couldn't find the best place to put this question. There is a new peice of software called, Satellite on PC. Has anyone tried this yet? I want to know if it works well, and is it worth the price of installing. Thanks
Also, if there is something else better, like Joost or similar please let me know as well. Many thanks.

This is not worth it, even if free. It is simply a list of available streaming video channels. There are lots of different programs that purport to do the same thing. Some of them have a little bit better GUI but if you search hard enough, you will find free lists on the net. www.comfm.com used to have lists of streaming video (and audio and webcams) but I have not visited in a while.
I was given one program to try and the most interesting thing was QVC - UK if that tells you anything. Many of the links were broken and the video was not very watchable on others.

The only way DirecTV or Dish Network can be received is with one of their set top boxes. A PC can not directly receive DBS service.
