it's in the mail from netflix and just wondering what everyone thinks about it, I don't see it mentioned on the master tier sticky thread

I just rewatched it this afternoon and it's pretty damn close to perfect IMO.

Its pretty damn good. I'd give the PQ a 4.5/5.

Excellent transfer and a pretty funny movie.

The PQ is excellent and it has it's moments.....it can be pretty dumb though.

You are all crazy. I watched it on my (my Bravia) setup and my friends setup (his huge 1080 plasma) and we both agreed that it is maybe 2/5 for an HD movie tops. In fact it is disgraceful. Crazy artifacts all over the place. I'm sorry but this is my observations.

something isn't right with you and your friend's set then. this movie's pq has been rated pretty high on every review site i've seen. while opionions of the movie may differ, the high quality pq has been consistant.

ditto that. I thought pq was excellent. There were ZERO artifacts in this movie. Watched on a 106" screen.

Good solid PQ.......I'm sure its perfectly faithful to the original run..
Again, solid AQ.......nothing wrong, but not gonna win any awards either..
Typical, standard, good quality BD release...nothing wrong with that..

BUT...I have to say, IMO, it is an awful, awful film which should never have been given the HD release that so many other films deserve !

I thought it looked decent on my 84" display. Not the funniest movie I've seen, but worthy of watching just for William H. Macy. That guy brought the movie up for me. I wouldn't own it, but may watch it again down the road.
