Looking around this weekend I saw that a couple stores had the 20gig($80) and 120gig($120) on clearance. So are there a bigger harddrive in the works or were this stores just trying sale old stock.

I think it's an attempt to sell old stock. Most have the 20gb premium 360s so obviously the demand for the 20gb HDD isn't there. I never got MS's high price point for the 120gb HDD and is probably why they aren't selling well. It really is a lot for 120gb HDD when you look at overall pricing of PC HDs

Mind telling me which stores? I might be in the market.

Well, the only thing online is the reduction of the 20G to 80 at Sears. Guess I'll have to make a trip to the store. I'd like to get the 120 for 120.

sounds correct.

'course this only adds fuel to the "ultimate 360" sku rumors. u know, the one with the 320gb hdd? ;-)

as mentioned in post 2, it sounds like they're clearing out existing stock. i doubt they'll get rid of the 20 and 120gb hdd's altogether though. unless all 20gb stock is used and they plan on putting the 120gb hdd in the $100 price zone

I wish they would. I have 500 bucks burning a hole in my pocket that I'd love to spend on a 400 gig hard drive.

Sarcasm.
