Some places have David Gilmour's concert Blu Ray being released in 2 weeks, but other places have it being released on 10/2 and 10/30! Don't want to go out looking in 2 weeks if it's being released at a later date. Hope it's sooner than later because I really want to see the David Bowie section! Anyone know anything concrete?

I'd like to know this too. I'm really really selective about concert discs, and even then the PQ and AQ really has to blow me away, whether I love the artist or not, but this is one disc I may blind buy.

I know that in about 2 weeks (Sept 15th) Many movie theaters will be doing a special Live HD Satellite presentation and a showing of the disc. The thing will start off with a live performance by Gilmour and followed by a brief selected Q&A section. After that you get to basically watch the disc on the bg screen in High Def glory. So i tend to think that maybe the Oct release is more accurate

I'm a bit confused as well regarding release dates.
However, I did read a long time ago (can't remember where) that the hi-def releases were appearing after the standard DVD release. Seems a shame that the hi-def screening is happening at around the same time as the standard release but we're still expected to wait.......
Does anyone know if the Blu-Ray release will be region free?
