I recently purchased a Yamaha RX-V861 AVR and when trying to hook up the 8300HDC to the 861 AVR via HDMI then out from the AVR to my JVC LCOS TV via HDMI I get a great picture for about 20-30 minutes then I lose picture. I retain sound and sometimes I will get a window that pops up on the TV for an instant that says "HDMI/DVI output blocked press cancel" which I've tried but nothing seems to happen. Any ideas is this a problem with my receiver or the cable box?

Nothing other than what you said, there are lots of times sets have this "handshake" problem and the easy answer is to use component.

Im getting this same issue but I get now picture at all I can use the guide and hear the sound of the show but now picture
