I booted up my 360 last night, put in a game and it started making a horrible noise, I ejected the disc and closed the trey, it opened back up, I closed the trey..it opened back up it would not stay closed..I turned the 360 off and the damm trey opened while it was off:D I was like what the hell? I turned it back on and the same thing..I finally got the trey to stay closed so I put in a couple of cheap games in case they got damaged and it said unreadable disc...so I'm guessing my DD is wasted? The system is not even a year old and I prolly only play....mabye 6-10 hours a week.

Good thing I have the 1 year warr through EB games..I'm going to get a new one this morning...I never did get the RROD....anyone else have this happen?

Sorry you're having problems. Your thread title is a little confusing. DD generally refers to Dolby Digital.

LOL i should have said disc drive.. well I already have a new one, took it to eb games and swapped it out at lunch for free...I'm good to go:D

Glad it's not a dolby digital problem, but instead a problem with the tray.
