No. Mine listed a ship date of Oct 16 with delivery Oct 18. They normally ship a day earlier and I get them on the Wednesday after release.

Ordered! My ship date was originally Nov 6. I noticed the listing didn't yet have a release date. Once it had a release date, I updated my shipping address (to see if it would change the date) and it changed the shipping date to Oct 16. :)

Just placed an order at Amazon.com. My order shows ship date of Nov. 6 and delivery date of Nov.8. The movie is supposed to be released Oct. 16 why so long? I think I will just cancel this order and get it a retail store like Best Buy.

The 10% discount was a promotion which was offered last year. If you bought 3 HD DVD's in one order they gave you the discount on all HD DVD's ordered until the end of 2007. The offer is long over.

It was a promotion that Amazon ran last year. If you bought 3 HD discs or an HD player, you got 10% off future HD movies for a year.

before you do the final check out - and you get the invoice page with the total. if you notice your ship date is November try switching delivery methods. if it changes to October try changing back to your original ship method - this worked for me.

I cancelled my order and tried again. This time it showed ship date of Oct. 16. I chose 2 day shipping so delivery date showed Oct. 18. After placing the order I clicked Your Account and then clicked Track Packages guess what my order is showing delivery estimate of Nov. 8. Even the email I got after placing the order says delivery estimate of Nov. 8.

I'm too sleepy to figure this one out. I will leave it alone for the time being if I find a better place to order this movie I will cancel this.

Amazon.com often indicates a very conservative delivery date. In all likelihood it will ship around October 16, if not before.

Just go to your order then click on the change shipping preference button. Confirm your shipping preference and itll automatically update itself to the proper shipping date in October.

Better jump on this while you can. There may be a pre-order "limit" and those who order after that will suffer delays. This has happened before will high demand HD DVDs. On release day, local stores will also sell out quickly just like they did with "300" and restocking will be slow. Better hurry.

Its only 28 bux. People spend more then that dining out.

I want it, not sure though about Amazon, DVDPacific (not sseing it there yet) or just hitting BB on the 16th (don't mind paying a few dollars more if it means getting it right then and not having to wait several more days for shipping)....we'll see! =)

I hope you guys don't kill me but I might skip out on this one. There are so many movies and games coming out the next few months I'm really gonna have to plan my purchases out more carefully. I'm behind I don't even have Heroes yet, add the Jack Ryan Collection, Top Gun, The Harry Potter 1-5 Box Set, Bourne Ultimatum, Knocked Up, imports like The Pianist and Equilibrium and I'm sure there are plenty of surprises coming soon from the big studios.

But for the last 8-months, I get my Amazon pre-order's (w/10% OFF & FREE 2-Day SH**) on the Released Date. Matter-a-fact, the last 7 or 8 pre-ordered HD DVDs (including HEROES: Season 1), were shipped on Monday, and, ... I received it on Tuesday!!! :D

So HD DVD version is climbing (from 7 to 5) and SD version is dropping (from 13 to 14), weird. Yeah, I know the SD will sell many times more than HD, but at this time is nice to see the HD version outselling the SD version.

it's pretty funny that they suggest buying transformers DVD with the SD DVD version of Spider-man 3.
