I have a Pioneer DV-400V-K DVD player. It has USB port and a USB Mode.

I have an episode of BattleStar Galactica that I paid for and downloaded via iTunes.

I copied the episode from iTunes to a USB flash drive.

I Plugged the flash drive into the Pioneer DVD player's USB port.

It only showed jpeg photos that I already had on the flash drive.

Is there a way to make this work? What if I copied the episode of BSG to a DVD (what type -R, +R, etc.?) and tried to play it that way?

I thought I had burned the BSG episode to a DVD 4x +R, and to a DVD 16x -R , but the Pioneer DVD player says, "Can't Play Disc."

Any thoughts, suggestions, advice, insight?

TIA!

I'm not familar with itunes video, but: what format is the file? And isn't all that stuff DRM-protected? Apple doesn't allow to play it on devices other than their own, right?
