I'm one of the folks who enjoy older catalog titles and am hoping for more from Universal soon.
How about some Hitchcocks?
How about some of the following oldies:
Andromeda Strain
Blues Brothers
Brazil
Conan
Day of the Jackal
Eiger Sanction
Fahrenheit 451
Fierce Creatures
Hindenburg
Midway
Out of Africa
How about some of your monster classic collections for Halloween?

I love catalog titles and Universal has a huge catalog. Ok, I'll start with The Birds. Remastered of course.
I'd love some Hitchcock in HD! Bring on Psycho, The Birds, and Vertigo! I'd also be thrilled with the monster classics like Frankenstein, Bride Of Frankenstein, Dracula, Invisible Man, and The Wolf Man (a remake is in the works so maybe this one will be timed with its release).

I was hoping for Halloween II around well Halloween.
'Brazil', 'The Day of the Jackal', 'The Eiger Sanction', 'Fahrenheit 451' and 'Vertigo' for me.
For starters!

Spygame!
??? Isn't Spy Game already on HD DVD? Since I watched it two weeks ago? Or is this a different flick?

I would kill for Hitchcock on HD-DVD. Especially VERTIGO - which had a killer restoration done 10 years ago and should be ready to go in pristine shape! I think his stuff would sell pretty decently for Universal - certainly better than THE WEDDING DATE or STREETS OF FIRE.

The River Wild, Timecop, American Pie: Unrated, Mobsters and Undercover Brother were rumored at one time as being December releases.
The Hitchcock films are supposed to be going through major restorations and should begin to be released in 2008 sometime.

American Pie Trilogy and 8 Mile would make me happy! :)

How many Hitchcock titles are Universal? I know The Birds, Psycho, Frenzy, Rear Window (?) Universal needs to buy the rights back for all of them and released the difinitive HD-box set! (Wish they would've done the same for the Halloween series... but, whatcha gonna do?) I'd love to see Notorious on HD, but I know that one's distributed by Criterion... but now I'm getting off-topic.
At this point, announcing ANY titles for X-mas will make me happy... it's been a while since we've had a slew of titles announced.
