I got my PS3 thru Amazon and hooked it up today to my Sammy HLp5685W. I started plugging the HDMI cable to the Sammy and it threw a electrical shock/spark, I couldn't believe it. so I tried another HDMI cable and the same thing. I then tried the supplied A/V cable and got a spark when trying to connect to the A/V's yellow/red/white connections . Has anyone ever had this issue before. I am getting a replacement PS3 from Amazon, but wondered if anyone ever saw this before.. just curious. My Sammy is fine with Xbox 360 via Components. It seems like all the A/V outputs are causing this electric spark...

Thanks for any reply.

Is it just a spark like static electricity or a real electrical shock like there's a wire crossed somewhere?

Neither is good, but just to clarify.....

yea like a spark to the hdmi connection which leaves a dark mark, but I figure that something must be wired wrong in the PS3 to cause this.. If I power up the PS3 without connecting to anything then nothing happens, only when I try to connect to the Sammy.

just wanted to see if anyone seen this before.. o well getting my replacement in a few days..
