I want to run a 25' HDMI cable in-wall, between my receiver and my projector..
Monoprice has two types of 22AWG- (#2806 Tin plated copper & #3657 Silver plated copper). The price difference is pretty substantial. Any opinions on whether I should use the cheaper tin-plated?
Thanks

22AWG is too thin to use in a 25' setup. Consider a heavier guage in Tin Plated Copper. You run the risk of loosing full 1080p24 resolution with 22AWG.

Ummm, unless I am mistaken isn't 22 awg the best gauge they have??? The lower number the gauge the better, right?

Yes, that's the way I always thought it worked.. the specs on their HDMI cables range from 22 to 28AWG.

Correct 22awg is the largest wire available at monoprice. Well, silver is a better conductor then tin, how much, I don't know.
Not just at Monoprice but pretty much anywhere. I haven't often seen 22AWG available in many places making it one of the thickest on the market.

Hmm.....isn't it the other way around? The lesser the resistance, the bigger/thicker the cable wire? There's a silver plated choice too and it's worht the price IMO.
