The trailer had me saying 'eh, kinda looks like a Batman Begins rip off'....




...until the flight visual, especially the part at the very end, the sonic burst thing, WOW - that looked incredible. =)

Still not sure about Robert Downey as a hero/lead....see him more as a villain, but here's to hoping it kicks ass, thanks for the link.

Thanks - nope never read the Iron Man comics, had no idea what he was supposed to be, but after another view of the trailer, I think Downey is a good casting then, he has a smugness/wiseass vibe - perfect for a Marvel character.

Not to mention Downey and Stark/Iron Man both have had substance abuse problems. Pretty flawless casting in my book :D
