What Im running:50'' Panny px60U plasma
Rotel RSX1055 receiver
Paradigm monitor 11's, cc370 center & mini's for surround
SVS 25-30PC plus sub

Looking at the Denon 3910 or 2930ci.

The Plasma is 720p display. 50% for movies, 50% for music. Mostly download music and burn to cd's.

Running Hdmi straight to the plasma from dvd player (The 1055 has no hdmi port) and will be using optical out of the DVD player to the Receiver for audio, unless component would be better?

The rotel's DACs are Ashai Kasei AKM4324, and the AKM 5351. ADCs are Cirrus Logic Crystal CS49326 for its processing and Dolby Digital / dts decoding. ( dont know how great that is:rolleyes: but that is what it has. Thanks for all and any reomendations.

I'd go with the 2930CI. It has the better REON-VX chip in it over the Faroudja chip in the 3910. I myself have the 3930CI, fantastic player in all aspects.

Yea, the 2930 or the Toshiba HD-xa2 may be an option. How well is the HD toshiba for audio quality and does it mesh well with panasonic plasmas? Any experience with this combo anyone?
