I only saw a mention of Goblet of Fire so far on the site...but that brings up an interesting point : If it mentions Goblet of Fire as a standalone movie for sale, maybe that means they will be sold individually instead of having to buy an entire boxset! That would be great news for those who imported Goblet of Fire already. FYI :No Blu ray version for preorder...yet.

I agree Im buying the boxset too, but for sale individually as well would be a nice option and a big change of pace for the studio's thus far.

Sorry to gloat but it is very rare that we in the UK get anything before you americans but http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=65878

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - 12th November Release date in the UK a month before the US

The other good point is that HD DVD owners in america can pick this up before its released over there however there will be the spectre of region coding for the blu ray fans

Same here! It is awesome on HD-DVD, in my opinion it was worth the extra money I paid to get the title almost a year early from the upcoming US release date.

For some odd reason, you can get Goblet of Fire on HD DVD and Blu Ray, plus Chamber of Secrets on Blu Ray, and nothing else Potter related right now (at least on High Def). It's like they stopped adding items right in the middle of adding the Potter titles.

Thanks

I like that they now have a minimum of $50 for free shipping. It looks like stuff is coming up, so I think the 25% deal should be fine.

I'm only ordering GoF, Ocean's 13 and the newest Potter.

That Potter boxset is $110 - 25% = ~$83

I still don't see the HP boxset. I'm holding off until it becomes available (or the day the coupon expires)

they also have Chamber of secrets available for bluray. Hopefully they are just updating it slowly, because of the release date. But I would imagine they should have the boxset up before the end of the month.

What a shame they've put such lovely design effort into a lavish box that will be obsolete the day movie 6 is released.

Meanwhile, anybody find anything else on the WHV site that's recently gone "live"?

Maybe we should start a new thread or have the OP update this one with new titles being added.

Weird I cruised through their webpage and on Goblet of Fire it doesn't list a Blu-Ray version, there is a space for it but when you click the link it adds UMD video only?????
Not that I want the Blu Version but is this a sign of things to come..........

Speaking of Warner store updates... has anybody received any discs (or even notice of shipping) yet, since the 5th when orders were supposed to start going out again?

I haven't had anything ship out yet, They did another "charge" on my card the other day like when they are shipping but nothing shipped from it yet at least as far as I know. I usually get movies from them, watch them, and then recieve the shipped to you email though.

Here's another imminent Warner titles question:

Does anybody have any info on why Barry Lyndon and Lolita are AWOL from the upcoming Kubrick release date?

I wouldn't mind a box set now.

Movie 6 wont be on hd dvd till 2009 and movie 7 most likely wont hit on hd dvd till 2011

I wonder if they're trying to make sure people aren't buying this from them with the 25% off code.....

My thoughts exactly. That looks wonderful... but it's a bit silly to put that much effort into a series that has another film coming out in just another 12 months (and *another* film right after that). I'll be satisified with just the movies at this point.

I'm curious to see what the UK will have available. I'll be ordering from there to get the original "Philosopher's Stone" title and dialog on the first film.

Looking at that large picture, the other 2 movies WILL fit in the box, you would just have to take out a couple of other things to make the discs fit. Honestly all you would need are a couple of those CD sleeves that come with OEM software, and you're all set. I'm sure that's not good enough for a lot of people, but seriously they're inside of this box anyway, so what does it matter?

I'll find a way to make the other 2 fit :)
