I am going to try to buy all my cables tomorrow and I was wondering which digital coaxial cables you would recommend from monoprice. There are the high quality cables and then the high quality with 24kt gold plated and fancy connectors. The price difference is about $2 for a 6ft cable. Which would you recommend?

Also, should I get one of these cables to connect my subwoofer to the Phillips hts6500 (2.1 HTIB) receiver?

Either will work for a subwoofer. There will be no difference in sound quality. The only real benefit of gold plated connectors is that they won't oxidize. For a $2 difference, I would get them.

i'm going to connect a coaxial cable to my tv for directv service(i've already got hdmi for the hddvr). what's the best quality coaxial cable? i've heard monster's or audioquest's top-of-the-line is the way to go. any and all suggestions welcome...
