I currently get 16 HD channels from Cox cable. The look good, but are quite limited in number. We are moving and I am trying to decide about bringing over my cable, or should I opt for the 34 channels from Dish Network, or wait on the 100 channels from Direct TV? I understand that the satellite feeds are not as good as the cable feeds, but only having 16 HD channels isn't exactly thrilling either. Has anyone else made a similar decision, and if so what did you choose and do you have any regrets?

I had Cox for years with pretty much those HD channels

Switched to D* and have never looked back.

Better sports selection with D*...Extra Innings in HD, Sunday Ticket, March Madness, and locals in HD

I made the change from TW to *D today. Install is scheduled for 13th of October. Yea thats right over a month out.They must be very busy with TW not doing Big ten . I have almost same channels with TW you have. So I am looking forward to *D and the many HD channels to come. All my research and hours and hours of reading on here and I feel good that *D is the way to go for the next year or so.

i'm with you ohioviper... i sort of regretted not going Dish. I went directv for the bundle with verizon, but at times I felt the money saved wasn't even worth it becaues D* has so few HD channels. I hope D* is worth it after the HD additions.

Keep checking the reschedule option on D's website so you can an an earlier date.
