Is anyone getting the Yankees / Blue Jays game in HD tonight on YESHD? On my YES HD channel on directv they keep showing a commercial for NBA league pass. They were showing the same thing yesterday when I looked at that channel.

due to a fire in the YES studios in Stamford CT YES HD broadcasts are temporarily unavailable. not sure how bad the fire was or when they'll be back online.

LOL I know going back to SD is horrible. Right now they're showing the SD feed on both YES and YES-HD on Comcast.

On the Cox YES-HD channel we just have a big blank black screen. No sound. So instead of watching the SD garbage, I'm listening to John Sterling on the radio, which is much more enjoyable then the Yankees' TV broadcast team, in my opinion.

Man this is torture. This has to be some of the worse SD I've seen in a long time. I would watch the Mets (I know) but they're getting slaughtered. So I can watch a killing in clean crisp HD or watch my squad through a layer of vasaline.

too bad they took an analogue feed from the HD truck in Toronto instead of downcoverting the HD that was being sent there also at their temporary control point in NY and show it at least in letterbox

It is shocking to see SD on Yes HD true. Broadcasts look so good all the time we are spoiled.

The Mighty Petz on SNY (Sports New York) was looking outstanding though tonight in a nine inning thrilla.

Sure the Yankees will get the hardware squared away soon enough. They have all the road games in HD which is amazing. Wish the Mets were able to do the same. I'm unsure why they haven't since the Yankees do it.

Watching it right now. There's nothing like crystal-clear HD baseball! It really makes you feel like you're in the stadium. Of course nothing beats actually going to the game, but HD is as close as it can get.

Yep seems like they fixed the problems, working fine for me in central/north NJ (whatever you want to call my area).

They had to get it fixed before this weekend or there would have been problems with them playing Boston and all. :D

Umm, I think ESPN has tonight's and Sunday's game, while FOX has tomorrow's game.

Yankees on D* channel 731/95 tonight as well as ESPN.

YES has tonight's game too, ESPN will be blacked out in NY. Saturday is exclusive FOX and Sunday exclusive ESPN.

I’d love to do the PQ test but YES usually looks superior to just about everything anyway. Tonight for some reason the PQ looks extra spectacular- very crisp. Besides, as much as Michael Kaye can really suck, I certainly wouldn’t want to hear Dusty Baker. Is he with Joe Morgan? I respected Morgan as a player but man that guy has personal issues with… the Yankees.

Got the game on both ESPN and YES. The YES HD broadcast was IMO sharper, a lot sharper than ESPN. I have D* HR20.
