ok bare with me but I have been to other forums with no luck so here goes.

I am in Orlando FL and have Brighthouse Networks service. I have had the HD DVR for 2 years months with no issues. I have always run the box to my receiver and was able to pass all resolutions. I have a Panasonic PF659UK commercial plasma which has a DVI blade. About 3 weeks ago, I purchase a new receiver, the Onkyo NR-905 which is an amazing receiver. The problem is that when I connect the box to the 905 and run it to the tv, the box will only allow me to select 720p and 480p. If I unplug the hdmi/dvi cord going to the tv and plug it directly to the box, the 1080i light comes right on. Whats even more strange, is that when I go into the OSD for the receiver, the 1080i lights up on the dvr. Second I exit out, right back to 720p it goes. I dont know if the receiver is not reading the edid right or what but something is screwy. I want my Discovery in 1080i back !!!!!!!!!

any ideas, any suggestions !!!!!!!
