I know there are other threads that discuss how to use the firewire port to "record" the content to the PC from the DVR.. however.. has anyone found a way in Windows (not linux) to copy actually recordings to the pc then burn onto DVD.. This is the ideal thing.

Also.. Has Comcast opened up the esata port as of yet.. to allow an external drive to be attached to increase space? It is my understanding that this would only give you extra space if it worked.

I'm also aware that there is a max of about 160gb per drive inside that can be utilized, so I dont think swapping that drive out for a 300gb drive, for instance, would do much, though it would gain 40gb over the 120gb drive that is already in there.

It would be nice if comcast would have a newer model with bigger harddrive space for HD content.

Finally, i havent been able to find a driver for either x64 or x86 Vista for the firewire port.. anyone else?

Thanks in advance.
