Me and a few of the guys in the "below budget" Acer PH530 thread are looking for one generous soul to fully review the Acer PH530 720p DLP Projector. (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-detailsInactive.asp?EdpNo=2687765)

I will sacrifice my own personal unit for the review, as soon as I get my HD70 back from Optoma, which should be sometime within the next 10 business days.

Although, the first few names that come to mind are Cavu, Kraz & Art... There are quite a few reviewers/calibrators on this site, so anyone who is interested and capable may take the job.

I couldnt really think of a better way to inquire about a reviewer, short of a PM. But a PM would of only went out to those who I "know" of, and my knowledge of each qualified person's actual username is limited. :(

Well, if you really want to part with it, I'll take a stab at it. I have asked Acer for a review unit, but they are still trying to figure out who's in charge, at least I haven't heard anything back, like a contact who can make it happen.

If you do want to do it, I'll need the projector for probably 10-14 days. Things are getting ridiculously busy this time of year, with 2 new Pannys, the Sanyo 1080, 3 new Epson's, a Planar, the InFocus IN82, an Optoma or two, a Marantz and a SIM2, all on my "short list" to get done before year end. (Not to mention a dnp screen, and assorted "junk". Let me know, if, and when. -art

tattootearz, great work on calling out a reviewer to get the job done. I had my doubts, but couldn't have hoped for a better outcome.
