I have a Sony KF-60DX100 LCD TV.
I bought it new in late 2002, so it is 5 years old.
I have a problem that appears to me to be a color convergence problem. It is most evident on outlines of faces, which show a green image slightly offset to one side, red to the other side, so you see multiple images.
I asked a local TV repair outfit to come out and adjust the color convergence. They told me you can't adjust color convergence on this projection LCD TV. I can pay them $90 to come out and diagnose the problem.
I replaced the lamp with a new spare one I already had........this didn't improve the problem.
I have DISH HD. I see this problem on both HD channels and standard channels, but it is more pronounced on standard channels.
I see the same thing on DVD's, about as bad as on DISH HD channels. So, it is an issue with the TV, not the incoming DISH signal.
I am about to sell this TV, so I'd like it to be in good shape..................but I don't want to pay 500 and then sell the set for 800.
Any thoughts on this?
