Considering both with be able to be used with my setup and price difference completely aside...

which of these projectors is the better of the two?

The HD7300 comes with an external scaler that can switch HDMI and Component and outputs and sends it to projector through HDMI->DVI in 720p.

The PLV-Z5 also looks like a great option.

Which has the better picture? Anyone have experience with both?

I am projecting on 106" Da-Lite High Contrast Cinema Vision (1.1gain)
