Hi guys, new to the forum.
2 weeks ago I bought this set... and on Sunday I turned it on to see yellow blobs on the screen. I turned it off and on and finally had to leave it off for about an hour for it to go away. It hasn't happened in the few days since.
From what I've read I'm concerned about having to go through multiple fixes with this set.
I just want a hassle free TV, I'm not anywhere near the pq stickler of the average tech savvy person here.
Should I return it? If so what else is a good option in that size and price range (i'm open to lcd, rear projection, whatever) that I won't have to worry about getting repaired?
Or am I overreacting to an isolated incident that probably won't become a serious issue? Having the dealer pick this one up, then choose a different tv, and have that delivered would be a waste if this never ends up needing repairs.
Sorry that this is so all over the place.... any thoughts on any of these subjects would be most appreciated, thanks.
