Thanks for the input. I did see the cablestogo.com , I just wasn't sure if they were a good price or a good retailer. I guess plenum rated cables are just much more expensive than the CL2 rated cables at monoprice. Monoprice was the first place I looked prior to posting, but I found no reference to them selling plenum rated component. They are rated CL2, but if I understand it correctly that is a lessor rating than plenum.

And are you going to actually run your cables through a sheetmetal plenum?

I use the monoprice premium cables and they are alot better than some crappy monster cables I overpaid for, don't be fooled into the marketing hype with that plenium bs and just buy the monoprice and be done with it.

They are for a commercial building (training room) that has shared air space. Per code any cables run in the ceiling have to be plenum rated. I agree that monoprice's cables are great, they just aren't up to code.

But they're darned expensive: $320 for 50' versus $140 from ShowMeCables and $180 from Cables to go.
