Will consider a good 854 x 480 unit though....It'll have to be a "reliable unit" with mild --> moderate bulb life.
I'll be projecting from ~ 11 feet.
Budget: $300-400.

Save your money. You aren't going to find anything worth buying except used at that budget level. As suggested, get your budget up to $600 and you will be rewarded.
