Ironwood installer says the HR20 has all kinds of problems with HDMI so he could only use Componate. I tried using my old HDMI from the 10-250 and cannot get a picture..had a setting of 720p on the reciever. Is this a common issue and is there a fix?

Is this a common issue and is there a fix?I've got 3 HR20s, all connected via HDMI to various TVs -- Hitachi CRT, Sony LCD, Samsung Plasma. No problems on any of them.

Does your TV support 720p? One of my TVs does not support 480i over HDMI, so I have to set the supported resolutions to 480p or above on the receiver for everything to work properly. Maybe you need to do the same for your setup.

Yes my pannie supports 720p, I'll try using the HDMI cable which came with the HR20 and report results, I doubt there a noticeable visual PQ difference but I still want this to work..thanks

Strange....My D*TV HR20 works perfectly with my 42" Hitachi plasma. Every now & again I have lip-sync issues, but not that often. Other then that, it's been excellent!
