Just had D* replace my HR10-250 TIVO unit for the HR20 and my local High Def channels beamed from D* are pixelizing terribly. I have another HR20 on my bedroom TV and no problems at all with the same channels.

I went into help and setttings to view signal strenght and the only thing I can think of is that the 103A satellite is dropping out on Tuner1. I'm not sure if that's the satellite that's providing the HD locals but it was solid on the other HR20 upstairs. The signal varies form 98 all the way down to about 5 or 20 and then completely drops out to where it says " no signal" so I'm assuming that's the problem. It's only on tuner 1. I switched the dual inputs to the tuners and nothing changed! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this Please??:confused:

Sounds like a bad connection. If the signal at the same site was good before the switch, then the connectors may simply have been damaged or pulled back when swapping them to the new machine. I'd consider cutting off the old F connectors and restripping the feed cable for a new connector, or replace that cable altogether with a new one.
