I am not sure this issue is related to my DVD player, but this seems like the best place to post it.
I started watching 300 last night on my NS75H.
Anytime there were black areas on the screen, there would be horizontal blue bands flickering through the blackness, even if you paused the DVD the blue regions were visible in the frozen frame. And just earlier I had been watching Simpsons on FOX and there were red stripes everywhere, and I had naturally assumed it was the cable signal.
My TV is Samsung LN-T4042H, I really don't think it's the problem, as it is brand new (like everything else in the system). However, I have been running into some really weird audio problems the past few days and I'm wondering if the audio and video problems are both indicative of some sort of weird interference issue. You can read my post about the audio problems HERE (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=909638).
I haven't seen this in any other DVD yet, so I guess I'm sort of just wondering if it is a problem with 300 itself. But I'm sort of doubting that. It's hard to search for info about a movie where the title is a 3 digit number. :(
