I've owned the Helman Group (Nostalgia) CCP-509 popcorn maker for a little less than a year. Over this time
I have noticed that the plastic piece on the ceiling under the motor has been breaking apart until now it's so
loose it's interferring with the ability to let the kettle gear return to it's normal position after emptying.
I'm curious if any other owners of this popper have noticed cracking or breaking of this piece on their poppers?
I am trying to contact Helman Group Cust Serv but haven't had any luck as yet.
We've only popped a little over a case of popcorn over this time so it's not heavily used by any means. I honestly
think it was either defective or cracked during the original manuf. assembly process causing a weak point.
From a popping point of view I've been very happy with this popper and it has fit our usage needs just fine.
I do of course want to get this issue resolved and try to determine why it started breaking to begin with.
