Looking for opinions on how the 5884's black levels compare to the pioneers 6010 black levels. With out the sets side by side will I ever know the difference? Thank you for your opinions.

Well, I have seen the new Pioneers and I have the new 5884. No doubt that if you are viewing the plasma in a dark environment, the black levels of the Pioneers are better. I do not have a dedicated home theatre so the lighting in my family room does not really bring out the deep blacks the 6010 can offer. Unless the 6010 and the 5884 were in the same room simultaneously, I couldn't notice a huge drop off in black levels. The 5884 puts out a great picture IMO. Plus the savings over the 6010 allows me to upgrade my AV receiver. Plus, I like the two year warranty.
