This should resolve full res on the 6010. Remember VGA is an analog output, while HDMI and DVI are digital outputs. Chris growler 09-18-07, 07:42 PM Well this rules out 1080p using the xbox hd-dvd player since it does 1080p only via VGA. BTW picture quality for bluray 1080p/24 source (PS3) is fantastic on this panel ! chrisherbert 09-19-07, 10:46 AM Well this rules out 1080p using the xbox hd-dvd player since it does 1080p only via VGA. BTW picture quality for bluray 1080p/24 source (PS3) is fantastic on this panel ! You might not see much (or any) difference between 1080i and 1080p, if the set does a decent job of deinterlacing 1080i. Nambit 09-19-07, 10:57 AM Pioneer doesn't seem to care about folks with laptops now do they? They seem to go by a standard of VGA out only (a handful have DVI). Sucks sucks sucks!!! I presume the same applies to the 150FD. Sucks! There's no excuse for that! Sorry, but *NONE*! They shouldn't call it a PC input if it can't handle a decent PC resolution on a friggin' 1080P display. C'mon, I understand the limitation for 768 screens, but for 1080P??:mad::mad: |
