What gives ? Why is VGA input limited to this resolution ?

Go HDMI to DVI on your video card. This should resolve full res on the 6010. Remember VGA is an analog output, while HDMI and DVI are digital outputs.

Well this rules out 1080p using the xbox hd-dvd player since it does 1080p only via VGA.

BTW picture quality for bluray 1080p/24 source (PS3) is fantastic on this panel !

You might not see much (or any) difference between 1080i and 1080p, if the set does a decent job of deinterlacing 1080i.

Pioneer doesn't seem to care about folks with laptops now do they? They
seem to go by a standard of VGA out only (a handful have DVI). Sucks sucks
sucks!!! I presume the same applies to the 150FD. Sucks! There's no excuse
for that! Sorry, but *NONE*! They shouldn't call it a PC input if it can't handle
a decent PC resolution on a friggin' 1080P display. C'mon, I understand the
limitation for 768 screens, but for 1080P?? :mad::mad::mad:
