I have had an Onkyo DV-SP1000 for about two years now, and recently, I have been noticing that when I put certain DVDs in, it sounds like the disc is rattling around a bit. Maybe it is something else, but it isn't overly loud, and the Disc is reading and plays just fine while this is happening. If I open the tray, take the disc out, put it back in, and close the tray, the problem usually goes away.

Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? Most of the time, it operates perfectly. Every once in a while, I get this juddering noise. It works fine, just annoying to have to open the player and such. Maybe I am not centering the DVD well enough?

I've had 2 DV-sp1000's, 1st one had to be replaced. I've had that issue from the beginning. Certain disc's, can be either CD or DVD sounds like they're bouncing around in the player but everything works anyway. For CD's, this usually this occurs in the beginning of the CD and goes away after a while..
