As I've mentioned in another thread of mine, I'm having problems getting good LFE impact from my Energy S10 sub at my listening position. Areas of the room where I have a lot of bass are inaccessible. I have a Denon 1908 receiver. I'm wondering whether or not, a more powerful receiver will help create more tactile sensations.

It's placement and room interaction that's the culprit. You're going to need to run some tones, do a FR graph at the LP, and mess around with room placement as a first step. When you get the best response and you still see peaks and nulls (and you probably will), then it's time for treatments.

Not unless there is a power outage.;)

The power in the amp will determine if your satellites can put out enough to keep up with the sub. Doesn't sound like that is your problem.
