Hello video gurus
To my knowledge no VP is yet capable of correcting color space.
Is any such video processor on the horizon?
Gray scale tracking is now an established requirement. Is it time for the next step towards perfection?

RAdiance XD plans to implement CMS. No timeline yet on when it will be implemented but i suspect it's coming in the next 2-3 months.

Xantus Terranex platform has been able to do this for last 5 years....if you have the money....

I was thinking about mainstream VP for consumers, not pro broadcasting equipment. So nothing soon to ship besides the Radiance that could include a CMS?

The Radiance will be a first. The Optoma HD3000 has color decoding and gray scale controls, but nothing to correct oversaturated primaries.

An engineer at one of the HT product companies told me last week or so that there will soon be HT processors that will be 3D LUT and primary color correction capable. He would not give me a hint about who and when. I think 3D LUTs take a fair amount of processing capability. I can't think of who might have that in the wings. It's not Lumagen.
