I did not get a respose in my post in another thread so I thought I would ask here in a new thread.

I need to go out and purchase a mount tomorrow for the IN82 and am not sure what will fit it.

Does anyone know if the mount holes on the IN82 projector are in the same location as the other "IN" series projectors like the IN76 or IN78 from Infocus ?

I called Infocus and they told me that it is the same mount pattern on the IN82 and all the other "IN" projectors which would mean a Chief SLB 157 mount that is used on the IN76 or IN78 should bolt up to the IN82. The problem is someone in another post stated this which has me confused.

Can anyone verify this for me ? I already have a Cheif mount for my Optoma H79 that I am perlacing with the IN82 and I would like to just buy the SLB 157 adapter plate instead of another whole mount.

How is everyone else mounting these ?

Thanks,

There's a response on the other thread now; it came in the wee hours this morning. See post 62

On a related issue with the IN82: I have an InFocus 7205 ceiling mounted. Will I need to actually move the ceiling mount since the lens on the IN82 is now on the opposite side of the projector than the 7205? If so, why did InFocus do this? It will be a major pain to have to move the ceiling mount to the side.
