Have any of you noticed that Halo 2 online gameplay has been updated so that you see red when getting shot up? Now when you're taking fire the screen goes red and you can't see anything.
They recently made folks re-download all the maps (luckily it's free) but I assume the changes were made there, unless someone knows for sure?
Hopefully my tv isn't just screwed up :).
Peace-out:)

It has always been like that....and I agree it is completely annoying and totally worthless. I play with the lights on so it doesnt affect me as much.

I read an article in Wired Mag... Awe hell I will do the work for ya ;-)
http://www.wired.com/gaming/virtualworlds/magazine/15-09/ff_halo?currentPage=all
It discusses about how they studied players playing Halo 3... I believe they added in something to notify when you are shot due to their studies... Perhaps it was added to Halo 2 as well, I don't ever remember it. It's actually a very good read, this is how hard I want developers to work unlike EA and their patch & roster updates every year.

As it turns out my complaint was after playing HALO 2 on my 32" CRT which does happen to have some red push. I typically play on my DLP and hadn't noticed it before.
