Was prompted to update this afternoon...any insights on what it is for?

not sure but I would guess it has something to do with the upcoming Halo 3 launch....

I don't understand how something designed specifically with playing Scene It! in mind is an answer to a motion sension wiimote. Apples and Oranges. I watched the video of the trailer for Scene It and am excited. I like that game, and this would be a fun and fresh way to play with friends.

I cringe everytime there is a console update, thats seems to be when peeps 360's crash

It's not a answer to the Wii remote, it's a attempt to reach the mainstream consumers. Simple and fun game play.

Well, I couldn't watch HEROES on HD-DVD after the update. Had to purge the memory on the drive again to get it to work. I don't mind doing that because I know that works, but I guarantee that screws a ton of people when the updates run.

I was thinking that it may have had something to do with pirated copies of Halo 3 out from the UK

I updated today, right before trying to play my HD-DVD of Knocked Up. Well, post update all i get is 3 seconds of black, and then I'm popped right back to the dashboard.

It plays fine on the A2 in the other room.

PLEASE FIX!!!!

I've read a lot @ the xbox forums that their 360's died after the update.....is this possible ? Now I'm getting second thoughts on whether or not to update my 360's

Yep we here it every umpteenth time someone either updates or puts a new game in the console(usually the same suspects)

Well....did the update since I posted and have been playing Gears until now non-stop w/o any problems.

I will play again later tonight (crosses fingers)

I only got a about 8 hrs use after this update until mine bricked. Pisses me off. Never a glitch and then this. :mad:

How's this for being pissed off- I took this week off for vacation just to play H3, and now all I can do is wait for my coffin to arrive.
