Can anybody tell me the name of the holographic paper that is used to print the cover art for The Guardian. I have seen this kind of paper on many titles, but I need to find the name of it as I'm working on a marketing piece and I'd like to use the same kind of paper.
Any help or links would be great.

I don't know the technical term, but it has "foil" in it. It's a really thin layer of foil in it.

Yeah, I did google searches for "foil paper", "metallic paper", "holographic paper", etc., but I couldn't ever find it. I really need to figure this one out.

If you're getting stuff professionally printed, just ask for foil printing.
I don't think there's a set technical name for it. It's usually just a thin layer of foil over the paper that is then printed on. It does cost a bit more than standard printing obviously.

Yeah, unfortunately there are a TON of different papers under the name "foil". I think this is more pearl metallic or something. Anyway, I'm sure it will be more expensive, but it would be perfect for this job I'm doing.
