Well anyways what I meant is you can't afford "the fun stuff" and then when you finally can afford it... you have no time. Such is life.

So true...I'm out of college, have my first "real" job and could pretty much afford purchasing the games I want. However, finding time to play them is a whole other story.

Exactly!!! I WISH I was in college not having to pay the many bills that come with my apartment. I don't have any children so that helps as well, lol!

Yep...I just love video game season........Bought Bioshock, TW08, The Darkness, GRAW 2 (I know I'm slow to get it) this last month, now I plain on getting

I feel your pain, I can pretty much afford anything or game I want, but I stay around 5-8 360 games because I struggle to get in an hour of gameplay on weeknights, after the wife and kids are in bed....and on the weekends I find it harder to stay up til 3am and function the next day:p oh well I'm just happy I can make some time

I feel blessed being in here. Single guy with a girl friend, 12 year old son, friends and neighbors who love to game with me. Probably why parts of my house looks like I won the video game lottery. :D

Yeah, nobody with an Xbox should be complaining about having nothing to play for quite a while. 360 is where it's at for good games this year.

Like others are saying, for me it's not the cost (eBay or a rental service takes the edge of the pricing); it's the time. When will I be able to play all of these haha???

What is illustrated here is an increasing problem here in the US.......people have the money to afford the stuff they want, they just dont have the time to properly enjoy it :)

I do the Squirrell method of gaming now: I buy a game, and stash it away...sometimes I even get time to play em. I've learned to live on 3-4 hours of sleep per night on weekends :)

The worst are all the quality Xbox original titles that are worth playing that are now like $6-10 bucks used....its easy to build up a pile of those :P

Agreed. Society as we know it is flawed. People just don't have enough time to enjoy life. Wether it's a hobby, family, travel etc. But more money doesn't hurt either.

Like many others, I can afford games, but not time to play. Plus my box is RROD'd and I won't have it back until November.

I still have Crackdown to finish and I have Bioshock sitting there that I haven't even put in yet. I also plan on getting

Given the amount of time I have to play games, those should just about last me until Christmas '08.

This is the boat Im in. I can buy every game I want but I really only get *maybe* 2 hours of gaming a week in. This majorly sux. I really need to plan a vacation day to play some Halo 3 :)

I'm probably gonna buy alot of the games I want this winter season either A) When I get a job or B) when the price drops next year because I don't have that sort of cash right now. I just bought a 360 and Bioshock and pre-ordered Halo 3 and I still need to beat FFXII (I'm ashamed of myself for that one), on top of that I still don't have PSP, Wii, or a PS3 I love college but I really hate being broke.

I'm almost glad GTA4 got delayed.

Hell I'm going to Chinatown TONITE to see if I can get a copy of Halo3 early.

This is the reason why I work hard though.. to be able to play hard with my paycheck.
