MitchR 09-21-07, 11:39 AM didn't know it was October 2nd already paul nyc 09-21-07, 11:47 AM Lol sixfootse7en 09-21-07, 12:00 PM Curious on this one. There were a few members here who said their copy was on the way in another thread. AustinSTI 09-21-07, 02:29 PM Wherever these guys are ordering from I want to know so I can get stuff early... jbug 09-21-07, 02:33 PM Same here. Oh well, at least we can get a review from them. Donnie Eldridge 09-21-07, 02:33 PM Wherever these guys are ordering from I want to know so I can get stuff early... YGPM bferr1 09-21-07, 02:59 PM YGPMCan you please let me know, too? Thanks. RScottyL 09-21-07, 03:50 PM Wherever these guys are ordering from I want to know so I can get stuff early... According to this thread: Knocked up has shipped!! (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=907684) They get theirs from DVD Pacific (http://www.dvdpacific.com/Default.asp) I looked up the info for that title, and it came out on the September 25th, and he wrote that on September 13th. sixfootse7en 09-21-07, 05:22 PM According to this thread: Knocked up has shipped!! Can we keep the name of the dealer off the board and limit it to PMs? I'd hate to see a good thing messed up. tsb 09-21-07, 05:32 PM I think it would have been messed up long, long ago if it were a problem. ;) Iggster 09-21-07, 06:14 PM well I want it maybe... is it as good as the first or better? dragonyeuw 09-21-07, 06:23 PM About the same I'd say.I feel like they were testing the waters for the Silver Surfer standalone movie to come out down the line.Meaning the movie seemed to have him at the forefront moreso than the F4 at times. MitchR 09-22-07, 04:57 AM well I want it maybe... is it as good as the first or better? Bit cheesy, not really good story but it's for the action I guess. Thought it was an OK film, should look good in HD though giantchicken 09-22-07, 01:00 PM I have mine on order through Amazon. And it made me chuckle that the post suggesting secrecy regarding the early shipper also listed their name in a quote, lol. I have considered using them before but I always end up going through Amazon. Maybe when the additional 10% deal finally goes away I will talk myself into looking elsewhere. sixfootse7en 09-25-07, 04:04 PM A dealer on blu-ray.com is claiming that it has been delayed. jkcheng122 09-25-07, 04:23 PM A dealer on blu-ray.com is claiming that it has been delayed. that is just sad if true. but if no one has gotten theirs shipped from dvdpac, it's very likely there is a delay indeed. we still have not seen anything from fox but fud since the paramount announcement. it was better when they were just silent instead of announcing titles then subsequently delaying them. Mel2 09-25-07, 04:32 PM there is no delay from the oct 2nd date. just a delay of it shipping out to distributors in the usual time frame. usually stores get the product 5-7 days in advance and it sits in the backroom until release day. now they will just get it 1-2 days before release date. happens all the time. happened with apocalypto and letters from iwo jima, those came in at the very last minute to retailers. just because distributors don't have it a whole week before release date means nothing. You sure about this? If Fox didnt have the rep that it has, then most people would believe you. I hope you're right. stockmonkey2000 09-25-07, 05:30 PM In a post on the other forum talking about this it mentioned in a distributor email that fox is having manufacturing problems with all Blu-ray titles. If this is the case it may be more than just a delay to distributors. whippersnapper 09-25-07, 05:34 PM In a post on the other forum talking about this it mentioned in a distributor email that fox is having manufacturing problems with all Blu-ray titles. If this is the case it may be more than just a delay to distributors. The post on the other forum is from the same poster who posted on September 19th that there was a nationwide delay in Smallville. Didn't happen. So I'd hold off on worrying about this until (and unless) something more formal is announced. mdc3000 09-25-07, 05:47 PM ^ if the dude lives in Canada, he was right :) (smallville not on any hd format here until October) joe_six_pack 09-26-07, 04:09 PM "Thank you for the support I have gotten from fellow blu-ray members. Just to verify what everyone knows already. This afternoon all 3 of my distributors rec'd at least part of their orders in their warehouses-they expect everything else to arrive tomorrow. Which means by Friday pretty much every retailer online and instore will have FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER which of course means they will all be on the shelves first thing Tuesday morning!" Confirmed not delayed by the original poster. Rieper 09-26-07, 04:48 PM Is Jessica Alba wearing a bikini in this movie? Cause that's the only reason I'd buy this crap movie on Blu-ray. |
