About the same I'd say.I feel like they were testing the waters for the Silver Surfer standalone movie to come out down the line.Meaning the movie seemed to have him at the forefront moreso than the F4 at times.

Bit cheesy, not really good story but it's for the action I guess. Thought it was an OK film, should look good in HD though

And it made me chuckle that the post suggesting secrecy regarding the early shipper also listed their name in a quote, lol. I have considered using them before but I always end up going through Amazon. Maybe when the additional 10% deal finally goes away I will talk myself into looking elsewhere.

that is just sad if true. but if no one has gotten theirs shipped from dvdpac, it's very likely there is a delay indeed. we still have not seen anything from fox but fud since the paramount announcement. it was better when they were just silent instead of announcing titles then subsequently delaying them.

there is no delay from the oct 2nd date. just a delay of it shipping out to distributors in the usual time frame. usually stores get the product 5-7 days in advance and it sits in the backroom until release day. now they will just get it 1-2 days before release date. happens all the time. happened with apocalypto and letters from iwo jima, those came in at the very last minute to retailers. just because distributors don't have it a whole week before release date means nothing.

You sure about this? If Fox didnt have the rep that it has, then most people would believe you. I hope you're right.

Didn't happen. So I'd hold off on worrying about this until (and unless) something more formal is announced.
