Not sure if it's DTS-HD MA or just DTS-HD, but it is 7.1 audio. The first I've seen for any movie in blu-ray or HD DVD.

House of a 1000 corpses has a nice dts hd 7.1 track!

There was another movie that just released and it had 7.1 audio as well. Can't remember the name, but it was about 3 idiots who thought they invaded Iraq but it was really Mexico (hey, it could happen).

Doctor Strange also has a DTS-MA 7.1 track.

There is a difference between 7.1 tracks. Not all 7.1 tracks have full stereo back channels as the number implies rather they have one mono back channel duplicated to both back channels (why? because it looks cool and fools you into thinking it really is a new super surround mix). Only a miniscule (all on Blu-ray) truly have full 7.1 tracks. One for sure is the Marvel comics cartoon of Ultimate Avengers.

Right, seems that PS3 games are where people will be able to enjoy true, discrete 7.1 mixed audio.

the premise was ok and the action was awesome. I mean if you put a bunch of extreme jail peeps on an island to fight each other... there are a mess of scenarios that can happen and this depicted it better then i thought....

Actually, these two back channels on this 7.1 are not mono. There are discrete effects being panned directly into each of the two back surrounds.
