I purchased the Limited Edition so I might as well inform anyone else who might not be aware of this issue.

Apparently, the nub that hold the disc is too low to hold the discs in place during shipment and this has resulted in the discs rolling around and becoming scratched.

I've been following the thread and other reports and it seems like almost every one opened has been loose. I'm praying mine isn't.

Yeah i saw that post and didn't Halo 2 have the same problem with the collectors edition? They had put the disc on top of each other i believe. Something told me to just get the regular version thank god.

Don't we have to wait until the discs actually are received to confirm this? I bought the limited edition of H2 with no problems at all.

Guys, we have a sticky and plenty of other Halo 3 threads. I'm going to start closing all the Halo3 threads that could just be added to the sticky.
