I have a PC with a blu-ray disk and cyberlink BD software. My display is a sharp 12K front screen projector which I drive via DVI cable. The sharp has 1280 by 720 resolution, but is not HDCP compliant.
So after I start the DVD, I get an error saying the display is not HDCP compliant, "switch to analog sub-D VGA output".
I was aware that full resolution would not be available, but I was hoping reduced resolution would be sent out the DVI port. I have other issues with using the VGA port, and would prefere not to switch.
Advise please.
Thank you
