Is that the movie with the "Mac guy"? Good grief....It was an ok movie, not really worth multiple viewings and certainly not worth over $19.95......

I'm selling mine used if you're interested. Regardless, why buy locally if you can buy it for MUCH cheaper from Amazon.com?

We watched it on DVR last night. It was funny, but not $34.99 funny.

Oh, and a bit of trivia for you. "Mac guy" was also the geeky kid on Galaxy Quest.

I just watched this one the other day, off Netflix. I was really impressed with the picture. I wouldn't mind picking it up for $15 or so, but probably not much more.

You should be able to find this used for under $20 shipped. I can't recall what I bought my secondhand disc for but it wasn't a lot. I enjoy the movie for the brainless comedy it is.

Why is this not available from amazon.com, I remember wanting to get this movie last november and they were not selling but you could buy through the marketplace sellers and I just checked today and they still do not sell it accept through marketplace.

I liked both Waiting and Accepted. However, I enjoyed Accepted more. I actually watch it quite often, because I find the gags last multiple viewings. Justin Long and Jonah Hill are bright young stars, and they make this thing work. Plus there's the hot chick ;)

I got Accepted used at FYE. Their regular price was $39.95, $19.99 used, and I'm pretty sure I paid somewhat less than that probably around $15 with promo, I have all the receipts somewhere. Site says backordered, a store might have it. I didn't look for it as I don't need it but I'm pretty sure one of the two superstores reguarly stocks this title, but I know I've seen no used ones locally, I was combing the used titles all week using 40% coupons.

Its worth about $20 IMHO, I don't see why it should cost more. The picture quality is pretty good, the movie itself is fairly good. Its a $20 title though, not an insane price. I liked this movie though, I thought it was kind of like the Old School idea but instead of starting the fraternity they started the school. I'd picked it up if you could get it cheap, but unless you really it for some reason I'd hold out on spending a good deal for it.

Look around for it used or hit up amazon.com... I bought this when it first came out and it's probably my most watched HD DVD - I've seen this movie like 8 times. I love this movie.

Not to mention the lead in Jeepers Creepers. And apparently snogging Drew Barrymore.

His small role in Idiocracy was pretty darn funny
Plus Dodge Ball and Dreamland (Kelli Garner is smokin!)
He should not have been casted in LFoDH, no wonder it was PG13

Jonah Hill makes Accepted!
"Ask me about my weiner"

How's the PQ?

"He should not have been casted in LFoDH, no wonder it was PG13"

I thought the chemistry between he and Willis was one of the best parts of the movie

first of all, what is "LFoDH"?

secondly, does anyone know WHY this hd-dvd is so expensive? its got to be the priciest stand alone dvd out there.

Live Free or Die Hard for LFoDH

Not sure why it is so expensive. Amazon doesn't list it as sold by Amazon anymore and it is a Combo so maybe it is out of print? Also may be that Futureshop and BestBuy are smoking crack (that they found at an old psychiatric hospital) when it comes to the HDM pricing structures. I am betting on the crack part personally....

That and "The Breakup" are the two most expensive HD DVDs I've ever seen. Of course, both combos..
