Hello all...I have a question regarding the new Samsung ln-t2653h 26'' set which I am about to purchase:
what is the best dvd player to purchase for this set? Price is not really an issue (at least not up until ~$200+, but I don't think this matters at this level of performance). Of course, I intend to connect whichever DVD player I purchase via HDMI, but my question is which one to get? People say Oppo Oppo Oppo for $200+, but isn't this utterly pointless being that the tv is only 720p at best? Since this is the case, isn't it more sensible to spend only like $90 or so for a Samsung or Sony DVD player which upconverts to 720p/1080i at max?
What kind of dvd players should I be looking at? Even a 1080i upconverting DVD player via HDMI is useless right since the TV doesn't even support 1080 anything?
Also: any way to shut off that annoying blue light? Thanks a lot.
