The Sim2 have a new release for the line Domino, the Domino80E with brillant color and unishape but have a street price 7/8K and the HT380 have a street price 11/12k.
Why there are this difference of price?

There is a new D80e that offer Brilliant Colour and uses Unishape lamp technology. It's available now in the UK and is positioned at the same price point as the old D80.

The HT380 differs from the D80e offering additional lens options and Enhanced Brilliant Colour which enables full CMS via Sim2's Live Color calibration software.

Just heard from a dealer that it is going to cost around 6000£ in Sweden. Can that really be the case? The "original" D80 is 4500£ here now.

According to a main UK dealer the UK price point on the D80e is £4500 i.e. same as D80. Sorry I've no idea about the price point is Sweden.

I don't recall Sim2 USA showing it at Cedia, but it is more common that they show new items in Europe than the US. I'm sure it will make its way here.

They are different prices because they are different machines. The HT380 has vastly better optics period, not just the fact that there are options. The T1 lens is standard. Different VP software that also allows full CMS.

The Grand Cinema line of machines (HT prefix and C3X) will all have this, both single and 3 chippers.

To clarify, they are starting the CMS system with 3 chippers and will move to expanding it to the HT line.

Doesn't the HT380 have CMS ?

The difference between D80E & HT380 is that there are two lens options on the 380, enhanced Brilliant Color which enables full CMS with our new Live Colors Calibration software, which enables full control of primaries & secondry colors.

They are available in Europe possibly, but I just confirmed that in the US it is NOT available yet on the single chippers.
