Need advice- I plan on getting an hd dvd--toshiba xa2 and blu-ray--prob new pioneer along with directv hr20-700 as sources and a marantz vp15s1 dlp front projector to replace my aging sharp 9000dlp I also want to replace my faroudja nrs and proceed avp+2 but i want to keep my individual discrete amplifiers for each speaker channer---7.1
i am considering the new dvdo vp50pro but am wondering how to include audio switching and inclusion of new uncompressed audio codecs --Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital+ Decoding, dts-HD Master Audio Decoding--etc etc
iknow the dvdo vp50pro would be a fine processor and video source switcher but it doesnt do audio processing----any ideas?
